  • Dear guest, Welcome to Gamyam by Denissons! We are delighted to receive your enquiry to stay with us at Gamyam, Kumta, Karnataka, India. 
  • As we are a center for health and wellness on the principles of classical Ayurveda and Yoga, we recommend the following to avail maximum benefits. Abiding by them will enhance your experience with us and help us in creating a healing atmosphere in the retreat. 
  •  Silence helps in healing. Hence, it is advised to converse in a low tone and avoid using mobile phones or other audio video devices in the public areas
  • Kindly avoid carrying your valuables with you in the retreat. It is advised to keep them in the digital lockers provided in the rooms.• Please bring along your medical reports and regular medicines you are on. Abrupt discontinuation of your current medicines without consulting your doctor is not recommended.• Children below 14 years age are not permitted in the retreat.
  •  Therapies are not recommended during menstrual periods. Hence, ladies are advised to plan the stay avoiding those dates. Therapies will be decided by the vaidyas (doctors) for all therapeutic and result oriented programme. Wellness and holiday packages will have any one therapy per day. Additional therapies will be chargeable and as available.
  • Arrival and check in is recommended to be no later than 6pm. Our restaurant closes at 7:30pm. Hence, guests arriving later than 7pm are advised to plan their dinner accordingly.
  • Alcohol, non vegetarian food, outside food/drinks and smoking are strictly prohibited in the retreat.
  • Coffee and regular tea will not be available at the retreat. However various herbal teas, green tea, black tea options are available to choose from, provided they are permitted by our in house vaidyas (doctors).
  • Guests on a programme are advised to stay in the retreat throughout their stay. Sight seeing tours, shopping or any other outside visits can be planned before the start or after the completion of the programme. Any such activity in between the program will defeat the purpose and hence will not be permitted.
  • Mindful eating is highly recommended at Gamyam. Hence, dining in groups and talking while eating is better avoided.
  • Please be on time for all your appointments to avoid cancellation or shortening of your sessions during the programme.
  • For your maximum benefits from the programme, all the activities and diet will be monitored by our in house vaidyas. Kindly co-operate and consult them before making any changes from the recommended schedule and diet. Also, do not follow any additional health tips from any other sources. Having outside food or drink is not permitted for the same reason.
  • Please bring comfortable and stretchable clothes without belts and buckles for Yoga sessions. Rest of the time you can wear any cloth of your choice, suitable in this coastal warm weather. During winter (November to February) it would be ideal to have some warm clothes in addition, if the need be.
  • Walking and being active during the day is highly recommended. Hence, room service for food and beverages will not be available. We would be glad to serve you at the restaurant.
  • Please bring your ID card along with you.
  • Our day for the guests will start at 6 am and ends at 9:30 pm. Hence, our restaurant operates from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. Pool, gym and wet area facilities will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.
  • For your information, Jio mobile network works well here and Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL have very limited or no network in this place. However, our WiFi access is available.
